Building Inspector:
In January 1, 2008, California adopted International Building Code and phased out the 1997 Uniform Building Code. The building inspector certification exam preparation course will offer preparation for the Commercial Building Inspector exam (exam code B2). This is the foundamental certificate that all inspector should possess. It can be transitioned to California Building Certificate by a short online exam or a seminar. The text book is based on 2006 International Building Codes, and ACI 318. There are very few questions from the ACI 318 text book. The exam is open book and 80 questions. You must score 75% to pass. There will be a couple questions on building plan reading that is based on what you studied in the code book. Our home study program will not include these questions for preparation.
Our course provide mock exam questions for you to look up the code and you will become proficient in looking up and memorize some key facts to prepare for the exam. Our track record has been proven since 1977. This is the first year we offer home study course.
